About the Fund
The Charlie Ketcheson Camping & Leadership Fund will offer financial assistance to Quinte area children and youths so that they can experience the fun and leadership opportunities offered at one of four Bay of Quinte Conference camps and leadership centers and by other youth and young adult activities sponsored by The United Church of Canada.
Located just outside Paris, Ontario, Five Oaks is an Educational Centre of The United Church of Canada. It is named in recognition of the five central Ontario conferences which it served first and also for the majestic oak trees which grace the land. This camp offers programs for all ages, personal and congregational retreats and hosts a variety of church and community groups.

Camp Lau-Ren offers a natural setting to gain a deepening awareness of others, a growing understanding of oneself, and a strengthening of personal faith. Camp programs are offered for boys and girls aged 8 through 14.
