Our Mission

As part of our Mission we in the Bay of Quinte Conference have affirmed the following about Stewardship:

We are called to be a thriving community that facilitates healing.  As such Bay of Quinte Conference will:

Enhance our practice of faithful and (w)holistic stewardship, living with respect in creation and to live into being a visible ‘Greening  Ministry’ actively acknowledging responsibility to our natural environment.

Featured Resource:  Fearless Church Fundraising: The Practical and Spiritual Approach to Stewardship by Charles LaFond

This book is an excellent resource on the spirituality and practicality of church giving.  Charles LaFond addresses the fear of asking and offers resources to help congregational members understand their givings as a response of gratitude and generosity to God the source of all gifts.  He offers time-tested strategies and sample campaign documents all grounded in a deep sense of God’s abundance.

An accessible resource for churches seeking to understand stewardship and exploring a stewardship campaign.
